Don't have two email addresses associated with one blog! Set up an email for your blog before you start the blog!
I just wanted to share a mistake I made when setting up my blog (http://charlotteslibrary.blogspot.com), to help others avoid it! I use blogger, and when I began I used my existing gmail accont as my blogger main identity. Then I made an email identity just for my blog, so as to keep things straight...and this is all fine, except that now I have two emails associated with my blog, I have to make sure that I am signed in as my primary email in order for the comments that I leave to link back to my blog. Before I realized that every comment I left when signed in to gmail as "charlotteslibrary@gmail.com" was a dead end (which was about a year), I had used this email account to set up my google reader. Now if I want to comment on something in my reader, I have to sign out....someday I will try to fix this!
