| I'd love to help! Lindsay VaBookworm87@gmail.comhttp://www.bookwormconfessions.com/1 year I'm good with html and coding, so I can help a noob figure out the set up process of their blog. I also like playing on photoshop, so I could help with designing logos, buttons, banners, headers, etc. I'd like to think my blog posts are meaningful... And the people who read my reviews say they're really good, so if the person I'm mentoring is a review blogger, I can give some good hints. | |

| Name: April Email: goodbooksandgoodwine@gmail.comhttp://readingisthespiceoflife.blogspot.comBlogging Since: July 27. 2009 What will I bring to the program: Time. Plenty of time. I'm currently employed in a very part time job -- about 12 hours or less per week. I am consistently on Twitter (@booksandwine) and AIM (you can DM me on twitter for my s/n). I also check my email like I get paid to do it, so basically every 10 minutes. I also know very intimately the devotion and dedication it takes to be a blogger, as I fell head over heels into book blogging while student teaching which was basically at the very least a 40-hr per week commitment. As a teacher, I can offer advice on coming up with ideas for reviews, on getting past writers block, on staying motivated. Also, I can be patient. Trust me, it takes patience when working with students who hate learning, if I can be patient with those students, I am pretty sure I can be incredibly supportive towards a blogger who is willing to learn and try. I can essentially be like a drill sergeant in that I will be on you like white on rice in making sure you get those reviews up and posted. Aside from the aforementioned qualities, I have a killer sense of humor and great taste in books....and wine :-) | |

| I can help! My blog is Michelle's Master Musings ( www.michellesmastermusings.com), and I have been blogging for one year at the end of this month. I wouldn't say that I'm an expert at anything, but I have managed to tweak my code enough to add a third-column, a gravatar, and tab labels. I am constantly available by e-mail, Facebook, and Twitter thanks to my Blackberry. I've managed to break into the ARC group and have received quite a few over the months. Being relatively new myself, I would love to be able to help out someone who is just starting out! | |

| Hi! I've actually been blogging since 1998... yikes. My current blog has stopped and started over the last year, but has been pretty steady since I started working part-time. That does mean I know a bunch about setting up a blog, layouts, HTML, writing content, etc. and I'm up on the latest trends like twitter, how to host giveaways, networking sites, etc. I was also copy editor/co-editor in chief of my high school newspaper (in another decade) so I'm a darn good writer/editor, if I don't say so myself! (Well, I do say so.) For some reason I haven't had an enormous amount of luck getting Young Adult ARCs outside of contests... but at work I get adult fiction ARCs like crazy (oh yeah, I'm a bookseller, too.) I also dabble in graphic design and can help with image editing tutorials. I started out many years ago on Diaryland and just learned a lot by trial and error; that was around the time the Buffyverse exploded online and I found a lot of great online mentors. My favorite is still Little Willow of Slayground--an awesome book blogger, herself! You can find her at http://www.slayground.netI love teaching and the opportunity to help a new blogger is irresistible to me! (I have to try very hard not to give unsolicited advice, lol) This is me--> http://www.readnowsleeplater.comemail Alethea at frootjoos at gmail dot com | |

| Name: Kathleen (Callista online) Email: callista83 AT cogeco DOT ca Url: http://smsbookreviews.blogspot.comBlogging since: 2007 although I've been writing book reviews for 9 years. I have experience in: -requesting review books and working with PR/authors/publicists - Basic button and header design. My current design was done by someone else but I could do something basic for someone - writing nonfiction and children's reviews I don't work but I do take my kids to playgroups and do Girl Guides and run at least 3 blogs full time so I'll pretty accessible. I can be reached by email or on twitter (callista83) and I'd be willing to give out my windows live messenger id to a mentee. | |
